Match Report Womens Team - Inverurie Loco Works
South were back at Holyrood HS today for a first meeting with Inverurie Loco Works. It was a tight game throughout with the opposition breaking the deadlock on 83 minutes to go one up but South fought back and Isi equalised in the 92nd minute to get a share of the spoils with the game finishing 1-1. A tough first away match for South in League one travelling to Huntly resulted in a 3-2 defeat. South went 3-0 down before goals from Lexie and Emma brought us within a goal of a comeback but ultimately it wasn't to be as Huntly held on for the win. South will hope to bounce back from today's defeat with a home game next Sunday vs Inverurie Loco Works. Following our win in the Barclays Scottish Women's Championship play-off, our 2026/27 fixture list has now been confirmed as we prepare for our first ever season in SWF League One. We can’t wait to get the new campaign underway and look forward to seeing you all backing the team home and away.


Edinburgh South Women are promoted
Huge congratulations to our Womens team who followed up winning the SWFL East division with a convincing win over Giffnock SC in the Pyramid Playoffs. South will now play in the SWFL Division One for the first time in the club's history. Huge congratulations to all of the coaches and players for a fantastic achievement.

Edinburgh South Women are SWFL East Champions
South Women finished off their league season with a 5-0 victory over Murieston United to clinch the SWFL East Division Championship. South will now play Giffnock SC on 31st May in a play off for promotion to next years Barclays Scottish Womens League 1.
