🏆Game Match Report 🏆 ⚪️Port Glasgow 4 – 3 Edinburgh South🔴 Another unforgettable experience for the team as we made the decent trek across to Port Glasgow for a cup clash. Thankfully the rain stayed away, but as always, the wind had plenty to say and played a huge role throughout the game.💨 We came out flying. Strong possession, great movement, and multiple early chances showed our intent, but the finishing touch just wouldn’t quite fall for us. An unlucky mistake saw us

Man Of the Match 20s - Dalkeith Thistle
⭐ MAN OF THE MATCH | Sam Forsyth ⭐ Sam Forsyth was simply outstanding this evening. A second-half performance for the ages as he kick-started the comeback with a sublime free-kick, added an assist, and then sealed it late on with a composed finish across goal. His drive, dancing feet and powerful running caused constant problems for the Dalkeith defence and set the tone going forward when it mattered most. 👏 Special mention to Ramsay McDonald, whose impact off the bench was

An incredible 8-goal thriller played out in brutal conditions as two attack-minded sides went toe to toe. Dalkeith raced into a two-goal lead on three separate occasions, but South showed huge character to keep fighting back and earn a 4-4 draw. Sam Forsyth led the comeback with a superb double, firing home an outstanding free-kick before later securing the point with a composed finish across goal. Match Report Mens Team - Leith Athletic
FULL TIME | Leith Athletic 1-2 Edinburgh South FC A huge three points on the road after a fast-paced, end-to-end contest. Leith took the lead in the first half after a ball in behind led to a low cross being turned home. South responded through sustained pressure, Fletcher winning the ball back before Murray Connolly squared for Stuart Martin to tap in the equaliser. South carried that intensity into the second half and found the winner when 18-year-old substitute James Chris

Match Report Womens Rec Team- Arniston Rangers
🗒️ Match Report- Edinburgh South CFC 2 – 10 Arniston Rangers - Friday 16th January ☝️Our first home game at Holyrood High School arrived on a chilly evening, but we’ll take those conditions any time compared to what we’ve endured in the past. ⚽️We set up in a cautious 3-3-2. Was it the right decision? We’ll come back to that. As has been the case so far this season, our start was hesitant - confidence a little low, decision-making rushed, and communication lacking. That cost

Match Report Mens Team - Heriot-Watt University
Defeat at home this afternoon as South fall to a 2–1 loss against Heriot-Watt University. The game was evenly contested for large spells, but just before the break the visitors took the lead after Ben’s clearance was caught by the wind, allowing the Watt attacker to capitalise with a clinical finish. South had chances to get back into it, but the students doubled their advantage when the ball couldn’t be cleared to safety and the striker made no mistake for his second of the
