The club would like to thank Ainslie and his coaching team, the committee, our supporters and our sponsors who have all worked tirelessly to achieve this goal.

Mens Team Man of the Match - Kirkcaldy & Dysart
Man of the Match - Kenny O’Brien A real team performance tonight with plenty of contenders, but Kenny O’Brien edges it. From the first whistle Kenny was everywhere, winning tackles, controlling the tempo and driving South forward. With the pressure on right before half time, he stepped up and calmly converted from the spot to give us the lead. Second half, it was all about leadership and resilience. Kenny led by example, dominant in the air, strong in the tackle and helping t

Match Report Mens Team - Kirkcaldy & Dysart
FULL TIME - AND WE ARE PROMOTED A massive night on the road as South secure the win that sends us to the Premier Division. We came out flying and dominated the first half, creating chances but being denied by some stubborn Kirkcaldy defending. Right on the stroke of half time the breakthrough arrived, Stu’s deflected effort fell kindly for Max Clark who was brought down, and Kenny kept his cool to bury the penalty. The second half was all about grit. Kirkcaldy threw everythin

Next up for Edinburgh South as we make the trip to face Kirkcaldy & Dysart tomorrow night. It’s a massive one for the lads, with promotion on the line. A win on the road would see South officially secure promotion, making this our biggest game of the season so far. South go into this in strong form, picking up big wins in recent weeks against Preston Athletic, Crossgates and Bathgate to put ourselves in this position. Kirkcaldy & Dysart sit 8th and have had some solid results

U20s Man of the Match - Dunbar United
MOTM: Shaun Lamont A top performance from Shaun at right back. He carried on his excellent form, stepping up from the 18s this season to become one of the first names on the team sheet for the 20s. Solid defensively, composed on the ball and a constant outlet down the right, he played a big part in everything positive from South.

Match Report Mens 20s - Dunbar United
FULL TIME Edinburgh South 3-1 Dunbar United South started brightly, dominating possession and creating chances early on. It could have been one or two before Sam picked out JC over the top, with the big man calmly chipping the keeper. South continued to control the game and Sam added a goal of the season contender, firing a 25-yard volley into the top corner. Dunbar hit the post late in the half but South went in ahead. The second half was more even early on before South took

Match Report Mens Team - Inverkeithing Hillhead Swifts
Full Time | Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts 4-4 Edinburgh South (South win 4-3 on pens) A proper cup tie. South started fast, Ryan Findlay beating two men before curling a brilliant opener into the far top corner. Inverkeithing responded quickly, levelling with a strike in off the bar. Fletcher restored the lead after 20 minutes, his free kick taking a touch off the wall to wrong foot the keeper, but the hosts hit back again just two minutes later through a 1-on-1 finish. Inve

Match Report Womens Rec team - Jeanfield Swifts
🗒️Match Report: Jeanfield 5-1 Edinburgh South What a scorcher of an evening- surely the hottest day of the year! And honestly, we’ll take it every time over battling through hail, rain, and sideways wind.☀️ It was always going to be a challenge. A slightly stretched squad meant we kicked off with just nine, with reinforcements arriving at half-time. 💪 But the message in the team talk was clear: different surface, different conditions- no excuses. We didn’t need perfection,

U20s Man of the Match - Dunipace
Man of the Match | JC JC takes Friday night’s Man of the Match. The big man led the line tirelessly all night, putting in a real shift against a strong Dunipace side. His work rate never dropped, constantly pressing and battling to give South an outlet. Capped it off with a well taken goal – his 22nd of the season. A performance full of effort and commitment.

Match Report Mens U20s -Dunipace
Full Time | Edinburgh South U20s 2–7 Dunipace A tough night for the U20s in the semi final. South couldn’t have asked for a worse start, falling behind after just 20 seconds as a clearance caught the defence out and Dunipace capitalised early. To their credit, South responded well and started to grow into the game, creating chances and getting their reward when Sam stepped up to fire home a well taken free kick – continuing his scoring form after last week’s hat-trick and Man

Mens Team Man of the Match - Preston Athletic
Man of the Match goes to Charlie Stewart. There were plenty of contenders last night, with every player putting in a strong shift, but Charlie just edges it. Chaz has been in outstanding form since returning from injury and showed again exactly what he brings to the side. Rock solid defensively, winning his 1v1 battles all night, while also offering real quality going forward. He provided great width, carried an attacking threat, and remained composed on the ball throughout.

Match Report Mens Team - Preston Athletic
A dominant performance from South tonight against a Preston side sitting 3rd in the league. South flew out the blocks, with Fletcher Hendry testing from distance inside 30 seconds. The breakthrough followed shortly after as Kenny O’Brien delivered a pinpoint cross for Max Clark, whose glancing header found the corner beyond the keeper. Right on half time, Scott Clapperton’s tenacity won the ball back high up the pitch. Reacting first to his own block, he swung it into the box
