Contract Extension - Kenny O'Brien

We're delighted to confirm that club captain Kenny O'Brien has signed on for another season with Edinburgh South.

Having captained the side for the last two seasons, Kenny has been at the heart of the club's success both on and off the pitch. His leadership, professionalism and relentless desire to win help drive standards throughout the squad, while his demands of those around him bring the very best out of his teammates.

A fantastic role model for our younger players, Kenny leads by example with his attitude, application and unquestionable footballing ability.

His numbers speak for themselves. Over the last three seasons Kenny has contributed an incredible 95 goals, scoring 56 and providing 39 assists. A remarkable return from a player who continues to influence games week after week.

Keeping a player of Kenny's calibre at the club is a real statement of intent as we prepare for life in the East of Scotland Premier Division.
