A late flurry of entries for our Last Man Standing competition saw us reach 176 people taking part ahead of the deadline for game week 1 on 1st February weekend, and meant the prize pot to the winner would be £880.
It was a difficult round of fixtures to forecast with some top teams either playing each other or playing away from home.
When all picks were in, it was clear that there were a few favourites with Newcastle, Chelsea, Everton, Ipswich and Aston Villa being well backed.
As usual the EPL threw up a few surprise results
The result was that 92 players got knocked out in week 1 with only 84 players still left in.
Well done to everyone that made it through week 1.
Picks for Game week 2 must be submitted by Thursday 13th Feb.
As a reminder the same team cannot be used twice and if you do not pick in time a random team will be selected for you which will be the first team alphabetically that you have not already picked.
