Disappointing end to the season for South this evening as we fell to a 5-2 defeat away to Dalkeith.

South started brightly and created a number of big chances early on, including an open goal that somehow stayed out. Dalkeith then took the lead from the penalty spot before South responded well through Sean McMorran, who rifled a superb finish into the top corner to level things up.

South came flying out after the break and were completely on top as James Christopher smashed home his 25th goal of the season to put South 2-1 ahead. However, the game turned when South were reduced to 10 men after two yellow cards for dissent. Dalkeith took advantage and turned the game around with two quick goals before adding another two in injury time as South chased a route back into the match.
