Another big three points for South following a superb second-half turnaround.

Dalkeith started the game on top and took an early lead, with South struggling to track runners and compete for first and second balls. The hosts continued to create chances, but several brilliant saves from Cole Latimer kept us within touching distance at the break.

A change of shape and approach at half-time brought an immediate response, with South returning to the pitch showing far greater hunger, intensity and quality.

The equaliser came when Elliot drove forward before sliding a perfectly weighted pass into the path of James Christopher. JC kept his composure and finished coolly underneath the advancing goalkeeper.

South quickly completed the turnaround. Noah produced some excellent hold-up play before releasing Sam Forsyth, whose initial effort was saved. Sam reacted quickest to the rebound and made no mistake with the second opportunity to put us 2–1 ahead.

Elliot was the creator again for our third, splitting the Dalkeith defence with another excellent through ball. JC raced clear, rounded the goalkeeper and rolled the ball home to complete his brace.

South continued to press for more, and Aido completed the scoring after breaking through the defence and powering his finish beyond the goalkeeper.

A difficult first half and a wake-up call for the squad, but an outstanding reaction after the break saw South score four unanswered goals and secure another important victory.
