Match Report Mens Team - Camelon Juniors
FULL TIME | Camelon 3–0 Edinburgh South
A disappointing afternoon on the road yesterday as South fall to defeat at Camelon.
The hosts took the lead inside the opening minute when a cross/shot clipped the inside of the post and went in. After putting a penalty wide, Camelon doubled their advantage on 24 minutes, reacting quickest to a blocked effort to turn home the rebound.
South had opportunities, with Yassine Chakiry’s early effort collected by the keeper and both Aiden Davies and Lewis Bushnell flashing shots just wide, but we went into the break two goals behind.
Camelon added a third shortly after the restart, breaking through following a ricochet in midfield. South made five changes on 55 minutes, with James Scobie later testing the keeper from distance, but we couldn’t find a way back into the game.
Thank you to everyone who travelled to support us yesterday. 🔴⚪️
