A frustrating night for South on Tuesday as two poor first-half goals prove costly.

Penicuik took an early lead before South came close to levelling through Stu Martin, only for his effort to be cleared off the line.

The visitors then doubled their advantage just before half time to leave South with plenty to do after the break.

Penicuik were reduced to 10 men in the second half, but despite having the numerical advantage, South were unable to find a way back into the game.

A disappointing result and a missed opportunity for South.
