A tough one last night.

South made the perfect start, taking the lead after just 3 minutes through JC with a composed finish for his 21st of the season. We were on top for large spells of the first half and were unlucky not to add to the lead, with Sam going close and Cole producing a big save late on.

We were dealt a blow just before the break as Yusef was forced off through injury.

Haddington grew into the game in the second half and found an equaliser after good play down the left. Another defensive injury to Elliot left us short at the back, and a run of individual errors allowed the visitors to pull away late on.

South had chances at 1–1 and 2–1, but it wasn’t to be on the night.
