Contract Extension - Charlie Stewart

✍️ CONTRACT EXTENSION

We’re delighted to announce that Charlie Stewart has agreed an extension with Edinburgh South.

After returning from injury, Chaz was one of South’s standout performers in the second half of last season. His athleticism, powerful running and composure on the ball made him a huge asset to the side in every game he featured in.

Whether operating at left back or in the middle of the park, Charlie’s work rate is amongst the very best. Always on the front foot and eager to drive the team forward, the attacking full back has been superb and will be a massive player for South again next season.

Defensively, Chaz is just as impressive. Rarely beaten 1-on-1, his recovery pace and determination helped solidify the South defence throughout the campaign.

Charlie made 25 appearances last season, scoring 1 goal and adding 1 assist, while also picking up 4 MOTM awards and contributing to 2 clean sheets.
