✍️ CONTRACT EXTENSION | SCOTT CLAPPERTON

We're delighted to confirm that Scott Clapperton has committed his future to Edinburgh South FC for the 2026/27 season.

Joining the club from St Andrews United in February, Clappy quickly became an important part of the squad, making 6 starts and a further 8 appearances from the bench, contributing 1 assist and picking up 1 Man of the Match award.

A combative and hardworking midfielder, Scott has brought a wealth of experience from both the Lowland League and East of Scotland Premier Division. His composure in possession and willingness to get on the ball have been key in helping us build attacks, retain possession and control games.

Off the pitch, Clappy is a fantastic role model for our younger players. His professionalism, dedication and commitment to maintaining himself to compete at the highest level possible set the standard for those around him.

We're delighted to have Clappy with us for another season and look forward to seeing his influence continue both on and off the park.
