Thank You - Dylan Cooney & David Thomson

✍️ PLAYER UPDATE

Edinburgh South FC can confirm that Dylan Cooney and David Thomson have joined Ormiston Primrose on permanent deals following the expiration of their contracts with the club.

Both Dylan and Dav progressed through our youth pathway and Under 20s setup before earning permanent places in the First Team squad for the 2025/26 season.

Dylan made his First Team debut and start in our victory over Crossgates Primrose early in the campaign, while Dav made 1 start and a further 4 appearances from the bench.

In search of valuable game time to aid their continued development, both players joined Ormiston Primrose on loan during the season, where they featured regularly and gained important experience at senior level.

Everyone at Edinburgh South FC would like to thank Dylan and Dav for their efforts and commitment during their time at the club. We are proud to have played a part in their development and wish them every success in the next stage of their football journey.
