A massive three points picked up in tough conditions against a stubborn Lochore side.

South started the brighter of the two, with Stuart Martin seeing an early effort ruled out for offside. Chances followed, including a great run from Ginge who beat two men but couldn’t quite lift his finish over the keeper, while Lochore stood firm with some crucial blocks.

The game burst into life late on. Lochore took the lead from the penalty spot with five minutes to go, but South responded instantly. A ricochet fell kindly to Stuart Martin who made no mistake to bring us level.

With both sides pushing, it was South who showed the greater desire. A corner from Fletcher Hendry caused problems and Ryan Findlay was on hand to smash home a dramatic 94th minute winner.
