Match Report Mens Team - Tynecastle FC

Full time at Paties Road and it’s another late winner for South as we defeat Tynecastle 2-1 in our final home game of the season.

South controlled much of the first half and created the better chances, with Murray denied from close range before Yassine’s powerful header was brilliantly saved by the Tynecastle keeper.

The second half lacked quality at times, but South eventually found the breakthrough as Max Clark reacted quickest to turn home the rebound from Stuart Martin’s saved effort. Tynecastle looked to have rescued a point in the 89th minute when a long throw was flicked on for a tap in at the back post.

But this South side never know when they’re beaten. With Tynecastle pushing bodies forward from a corner, South broke quickly through Stuart and Youngy, who combined brilliantly before Youngy slipped in Fletcher Hendry to calmly slot home a dramatic late winner.
