Match Report - Mens U20s - Armadale Thistle

🔴⚪ FULL TIME | South U20s 4–1 Armadale Thistle U20s

The young South made it five consecutive wins, recording a 4–1 victory for the third game in a row! 👏

South started brightly, with good play down both wings, and were rewarded when Sulayman Sylva turned home a cross from the right. We continued to dominate and were unfortunate not to extend our lead.

At the other end, Calvin produced a crucial clearance off the line from an Armadale corner. From the resulting second corner, South broke away in style. Sully won the initial ball before driving 50 yards upfield, beating three players and slipping Carson through to fire home our second.

South couldn’t quite maintain the same intensity after the break, with the game becoming scrappy and Armadale pulling a goal back from the penalty spot. A few changes brought fresh legs, including a debut for Cody Boyle, another of our talented 2010 crop.

Our third came through a brilliant piece of individual play from Conor, who powered down the right, jinked his way into the box and rifled home to restore the two-goal cushion.

There was still time for a superb fourth. Young midfield duo Aaron Kettrick and Cody Boyle combined with some excellent passing to release Sam, who played in Yusef Green to smash an emphatic finish into the top corner! 🚀

Five wins on the bounce and another young debutant making his mark — a great night for the young South! 🔴⚪
