Full Time: Penicuik 4–0 South

South switched off from the start and found themselves behind in the opening minute. A miscommunication at the back allowed Penicuik to double their lead shortly after.

South responded with a few half chances, with JC going close in a one-on-one that the Penicuik goalkeeper did well to save. A free header from a corner then saw Penicuik extend their lead, sending South in 3–0 down at the break.

The second half was an improvement with South creating some good opportunities. JC was unlucky with two efforts well saved by the Penicuik keeper, while Joey saw a free kick and a close-range strike from Josh both kept out by excellent stops.

Another mix up at the back late on allowed Penicuik to seal the game and make it 4–0.

The starting lineup for South was
