FULL-TIME | South 🔴⚪️ 3–0 Whitehill Welfare

A fantastic afternoon for South as we put in a dominant display to take all three points!

We started brightly and got our reward when Lee Taggart smashed home a superb half-volley to open the scoring. After the break, Stuart Martin doubled our lead with a lovely first-time finish to give us breathing space.

Right at the death, relentless pressing from Charlie Morrant forced a mistake from the Whitehill goalkeeper, allowing him to add our third and cap off a brilliant team performance.

From start to finish, the lads looked comfortable and showed an excellent work-rate, with intensity all over the park.

It was especially pleasing to finish the match with three of last season’s 20s involved – Yassine Chakiry and Aiden Davies both starting, and Shane Majekodunmi coming on from the bench. The pathway is alive and well!

A great day, a great win – and another step forward for this squad. 👏⚽️
