Next Up | RJM Sports League Cup – 1st Round

South turn their attention to cup action this Saturday as we travel to face Arniston Rangers in the 1st Round of the RJM Sports League Cup.

After last week’s frustrating league defeat to Thornton Hibs, the lads will be determined to respond in the right manner and put in a performance that sets the tone for the weeks ahead.

Arniston will provide tough opposition as they continue to compete strongly in the Second Division, and they’ll be just as eager to book their place in Round Two. There was little between the sides last season, with a 2-2 draw in the first meeting before South ran out 2-0 winners at Newbyres Park in the return fixture.

Cup football brings its own edge - and with a place in the next round on the line, expect a competitive 90 minutes.
