NEXT UP

The first team return to action this Sunday as we host Edinburgh University in EOS First Division action at Paties Road.

South go into the game off the back of another strong result, picking up a 4-2 victory away to Whitehill Welfare last weekend, a performance that showed the squad’s quality and resilience.

The sides last met in August in an entertaining match that saw South run out 5-3 winners, and both teams will be aiming to pick up another important three points this weekend.

South currently sit 6th in the table, with Edinburgh University just behind in 7th, setting up what promises to be a competitive encounter between two evenly matched sides.

Although we are not officially part of the Groundhop weekend, our Sunday 3pm kick-off means supporters attending the Cowdenbeath Central vs Newburgh match at 12:15pm will still have time to make their way over to Paties Road afterwards. We would be delighted to welcome any travelling fans along.
