Next Up Mens Team - Heriot-Watt University

Next up for South is the final game of the 2025/26 season as we travel to face Heriot-Watt University tomorrow afternoon.

South head into the game in strong form having won 7 of the last 9 league matches, including victories over Preston Athletic, Kirkcaldy & Dysart and Tynecastle. Last time out, South edged a dramatic 2-1 win over Tynecastle thanks to Fletcher Hendry’s late winner.

Heriot-Watt come into the match off the back of an impressive 1-0 away victory against Crossgates last weekend and will be looking to carry that momentum into the final day as they battle to avoid relegation from the First Division.

The students are also the only side South are yet to take points from this season, with Heriot-Watt running out 2-1 winners at Paties Road in the previous meeting back in December.

With South looking to end the campaign on a high and Heriot-Watt fighting for survival, tomorrow’s clash at Oriam promises to be a competitive finale to the season.
