Musselburgh Athletic 3 – 4 Edinburgh South

What a comeback from South.

After a really sloppy start, South found themselves 2-0 down after some slack passing. The boys showed great character to get a lifeline before the break with a composed finish to make it 2-1.

South flew out the traps in the second half, creating and missing some big chances, but against the run of play Musselburgh extended their lead to 3-1. Heads never dropped. South were absolutely relentless and dragged it back to 3-3, with Shane producing a clever backheel and Josh finishing smartly after brilliant combination play from Conor and JC.

The pressure kept coming and with virtually the last kick of the game, Calvin powered home a header from Tom’s corner to complete a stunning 4-3 win.
