Contract Extension - Lewis Whitelaw

𝗟𝗘𝗪𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗪 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦 ✍️

We're delighted to confirm that Lewis Whitelaw has agreed a deal to remain with Edinburgh South for the 2026/27 season.

Now entering his sixth year with the club, Lewis has been a tremendous servant to South and has firmly established himself as our number one over the past three seasons.

A commanding presence between the sticks, Lewis has been a vital part of the club's success, helping South secure two promotions during his time at the club. His fantastic shot-stopping ability has produced countless important saves over the years, while his presence, leadership and organisation at the back have provided a solid foundation for the team.

Reliable, vocal and always ready to put his body on the line for the badge, Lewis continues to be one of the most important figures in the squad both on and off the pitch.

We're delighted to have our number one signed up for another season and look forward to seeing him making more big saves in South colours throughout the 2026/27 campaign.
