Catching up on our last two Man of the Match awards.

Conor Grealis v Leith Athletic

A real captain’s performance from Conor. South’s biggest threat in the first half, he was relentless down the right-hand side and caused Leith problems throughout.

When South came under pressure after the break, Conor’s defensive qualities came to the fore as he stood up superbly and helped South see out an excellent 3–1 victory.

A fully deserved MOTM award for the skipper.

Peter Gilchrist v Penicuik Athletic

An excellent debut following his signing. Peter was commanding at the back throughout and assured in possession, producing a composed performance in his first appearance for South.

Hopefully the first of many strong performances in a South shirt.
