South advance to the next round of the cup after a hard fought away win at Inverkeithing. After a cagey opening with chances at both ends, South took the lead thanks to a stunning 25 yard piledriver from Carson into the top corner.
Swifts levelled early in the second half from a soft looking penalty, but that kicked South into gear. Dougray struck the bar with a header before Calvin Edgar powered home a Joey Hunter corner to restore the lead.
South dominated the closing stages and two excellent late finishes from JC, both created by exquisite passes from Josh Stewart, sealed the win. Strong defending throughout meant South were rarely troubled after the equaliser.
A brilliant away performance and we move into the next round.
