Mens Team Man of the Match - Arniston Rangers

Showing real composure and experience, Clappy retained possession well, broke up play and helped organise the team throughout the game. His calmness on the ball allowed South to build attacks, while his presence in midfield provided the platform that proved vital in our comeback. U20s Man of the Match - Tranent
MAN OF THE MATCH – SHAUN LAMONT Last night’s Man of the Match goes to Shaun Lamont, sponsored by Principle Point. Shaun continued his excellent recent form with another energetic and disciplined performance down the right-hand side. A tireless display and a well deserved recognition for one of South’s most consistent performers. Man of th

Match Report Mens U20s - Tranent
FULL TIME A dramatic night at Holy Rood High School ends all square. South started well and created a couple of half chances early on, but it was Tranent who took the lead despite strong protests from the South players for a foul in the build-up. The response was immediate as Sean McMorran fired home a composed strike from 20 yards to bring us level. With the equaliser settling South, we began to take control of the game. JC was causing real problems down the right and the pr

Match Report Mens Team - Thornton Hibs
Full Time at Paties Road. A frustrating afternoon as we fall to a narrow 1-0 defeat against Thornton Hibs in a tightly contested game. There was little to separate the sides over the 90 minutes, but a well taken finish following a corner proved to be the difference after we were unable to fully clear our lines. Plenty of effort and commitment from the boys, but not the result we were after. We regroup and turn our focus to next week’s cup tie against Arniston Rangers. Everyon
